I want to write a book

I would like to write a book about my journey through depression, as now I feel as I learnt to deal with it.

The book will be divided in chapters of which a typical question by a psychologist, such as “how about your parents?” is the name of the chapter and the answer is the body of that chapter.

I started writing it, but I cannot find motivation to go on. Do you think it is a good idea? What would you suggest to find motivation?

Please, let me know by commenting!

  1. I think that’s a great idea! I usually start by coming up with an outline of my chapters, then making notes of as many ideas as I can come up with for each chapter. I take my time doing that before I dive into actual writing.

  2. Motivation can come from thinking about how your book will help others. I suggest writing all the potential benefits to anyone who reads your book… it might help you structure the content and be a framework for your writing. Good luck and enjoy the process!
